Title: Overage Shortage and Damage Analyst
Are you passionate about protecting product integrity and transportation spend through disciplined freight claims management? Join us as an OS&D Analyst, providing services to North America, where you’ll play a key role in investigating and resolving overages, shortages, and damaged freight across our transportation network.
In this role, you’ll work closely with Uber Freight, carriers, and internal Kellanova partners to ensure timely claim resolution, financial recovery, and clean, audit‑ready documentation. This position is based in Querétaro, México and offers a flexible model of work, with direct impact on transportation performance and cost containment across the region.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- OS&D Claim Investigation & Processing – Investigate overage, shortage, and damage claims from identification through resolution, validating claims against bills of lading (BOLs), proofs of delivery (PODs), photos, seal information, and shipment data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Claim Submission, Tracking & Recovery – Submit OS&D claims to Uber Freight carriers within contractual timelines, proactively track claim status, follow up to prevent aging or denial, and support recovery of freight cost, product value, and applicable accessorial charges.
- Carrier & Partner Collaboration – Partner closely with Uber Freight representatives and carriers to resolve OS&D issues, communicate liability positions and documentation gaps, and escalate repeated or unresolved issues through established channels.
- Internal Stakeholder Support – Coordinate with Customer Service, Transportation, Distribution, and Finance teams to provide clear claim status updates, expected resolution timelines, and finalized outcomes that support customer communication and financial reconciliation.
- Data Integrity, Compliance & Continuous Improvement – Maintain complete, audit‑ready claim files within TMS and claims portals, ensure compliance with internal policies and carrier agreements, analyze OS&D trends, and contribute to initiatives that reduce future claims and losses.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Experience processing OS&D or freight claims within transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Working knowledge of freight documentation (BOL, POD, inspections) and carrier claims handling processes
- Strong system proficiency, including ERP/TMS platforms (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines simultaneously
