Title:  Engineering Project Coordinator

Description: 

Do you enjoy bringing complex engineering projects to life through strong coordination and teamwork? Join our Engineering team as an Engineering Project Coordinator, where you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution and delivery of capital and expense projects from concept through vertical startup.

In this role, you will act as the central point of communication across multidisciplinary teams, aligning engineering, procurement, construction, and quality partners to meet business objectives, client expectations, and regulatory requirements. You’ll apply structured project management practices and the UWF methodology to deliver projects safely, on time, within scope, and within budget.

This position is based on-site in the Querétaro plant, working closely with local, regional, and global engineering stakeholders on high-impact initiatives.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Cross-Functional Project Coordination: Lead collaboration across engineering, procurement, construction, quality, and external contractors to ensure seamless execution of project deliverables from design through startup.
  • Budget, Resource & Savings Management: Manage capital and expense budgets, track expenditures, and help define productivity pipelines that support annual savings commitments in alignment with financial guidelines.
  • Schedule & Risk Management: Develop and maintain detailed project timelines while proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to keep projects on track.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency, alignment, and compliance with legal, regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Quality & Methodology Execution: Oversee quality assurance activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring deliverables meet specifications and that the UWF methodology is consistently applied. 

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 2–3+ years of experience in engineering project coordination or similar roles
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management principles and practices
  • Fluency in English (Spanish required for local collaboration)
