Title: Demand Planner Benelux - 6-month secondment
In today's dynamic business environment, the Demand Planning role plays a crucial part in ensuring accurate and efficient forecasting. This hybrid position, based at our Zaventem office, involves managing, enriching, and owning the total forecast within the Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) system for a 0–18-month horizon. Effective communication in English is essential for success in this role, which offers a blend of in-office and remote work over a 6-month secondment starting on November 1st, 2024.
A Taste Of What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting The Local Team – You will assist in the local demand planning and forecasting process, preparing and generating forecasts, while enhancing and finalizing short-term projections.
- Forecasting – You will be responsible for managing demand planning forecasts, conducting regular reviews with stakeholders, and updating the forecasts as needed.
- Business Partnering - Helping to drive consensus within the cross-functional team (Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales and Finance) on monthly S&OP volumes + presenting these volumes and their drivers to local management.
- Data - Collecting essential market data from cross-functional teams to develop S&OP volume proposals, while identifying and supporting improvements in processes and KPIs.
- Non-Performing Inventory - In collaboration with the local IBP team, you will be responsible for developing preventive and mitigation plans to reduce penalties and Non-Performing Inventory, while providing the Benelux business with visibility on the impact of supply vs. demand risks.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- University Degree or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative field (Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field)
- Expertise in Demand Planning process including best practices, technologies, processes, procedures and tools
- Experience working in a shared service, process driven or service center environment for a multinational organization, working with colleagues internationally
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office - with an Excel advanced level
- You speak English (Dutch or French is a plus)
