Title: Plant Operations Manager II
Looking to put your short- and long-term strategy, planning, and people leadership skills into action? As the Plant Operations Manager II, you will lead a critical operations team at our Wyoming, Michigan manufacturing site, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of the production schedule. This on-site role partners closely with a high-caliber leadership team and cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and business results. You’ll join a high-performing plant environment where safety, food quality, and associate engagement are top priorities.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Culture Ownership – Lead and reinforce a department culture centered on people safety, food safety, quality, accountability, and positive associate relations.
- Operational Performance – Own daily and long-term production performance, ensuring delivery against safety, quality, cost, and service expectations.
- People Development – Coach, develop, and build leadership capability within the operations team through continuous improvement and skill-building practices.
- Continuous Improvement – Apply lean manufacturing and data-driven problem-solving methods to improve metrics and eliminate losses.
- Strategic Leadership – Contribute as a plant leadership team member in setting and executing the site’s annual and long-term strategic direction.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Significant leadership experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
- Hands-on experience applying lean manufacturing principles
- Proven ability to manage production performance, budgets, and cost improvement initiatives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing performance data
Compensation
The annual salary range is $129,800 - $170,310, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
