Title:  Engineering Head

Description: 

Are you passionate about Food Engineering Processes and Business Needs accomplishing? Join our Engineering team as a Engineering Head/Supervisor. In this role, you’ll be responsible for enable business needs by meeting the KPIs outlined in the site's CBN, ensuring the execution and vertical startup of projects with the appropriate technology while adhering to the assigned capital. Additionally, as the on-site leader of the Technical Center, the role is responsible for building capability at the site for KSUM practices and ensuring the proper use of the UWF methodology.

 

Furthermore, this role oversees talent management in the plants and the development of on-site succession plans and belong as active member of the site leadership team and will report directly to de Plant Director.
This role is onsite in Toluca, Mexico State.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Project Management: Directs, manages, and controls the timely execution, performance, and cost of Infrastructure, Productivity, Innovation, and Growth projects. Offers technical direction and coordination for projects, particularly by guiding the preparation of preliminary estimates and overall project execution.
  • Capital Planning: Coordinates the capital planning process with plant staff, ensuring clear communication of requests, expectations, and commitments to support the global capital plan.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Acts as a key member of the plant teams, aligning efforts with plant operations to ensure seamless collaboration and contribute to delivering targeted results.
  • CapEx Management: Ensure accurate CapEx expenditure, and analyze any deviations from the plan, implementing necessary adjustments when needed.
  • Engineering Plans: Review and evaluate both short- and long-term strategic plans, ensuring risk mitigation and proper budget utilization. Align plant priorities, overseeing compliance with established controls.
  • Communication intermediary: Facilitates communication with regional and global resources to identify and define new technologies and processes, ensuring the appropriate allocation of resources for project success.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering , or any related field.
  • 4 years of experience in plant or manufacturing in food industry in similar roles.
  • Manufacturing background and desirable PMI certificate.
  • English proficiency.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Effective communitacion and decision-maker.
