Title: Supply Planner - Production Scheduler
Based at our manufacturing site at Botany, the role of Supply Planner – Production Scheduler is responsible for the production scheduling of all finished goods. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating production activities, optimizing resource utilization and using analytics to drive data driven decision making within the Supply Chain.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop detailed production schedule in accordance with the sales forecast, inventory plans and capacity constraints.
- Establish and develop reporting procedures to support and identify exceptions to the production plan and projected inventory level.
- Coordinate activities associated with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality and Sanitation to ensure requirements have been executed
- Coordinate activities associated with NPD, product renovations and deletions within the supply team to manage first/last production runs, any ingredient & packaging runouts, minimizing any write off.
- Communicate current and future supply risks to key stakeholders through existing forums ensuring information is shared with the broader business
We’re Looking for Someone With
This role will suit an experienced Supply Planner familiar with the FMCG industry and supply chain. You will be thorough, and detail oriented with a proven track record of using date to drive insight, partnering with manufacturing teams including operations and maintenance to achieve accuracy with minimal disruption.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in supply/distribution planning
- Demonstrable experience working in Supply Chain within a large scale FMCG organization
- Skills and knowledge in production planning and inventory management is essential
- Knowledge of imports proves and S&OP
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with ease
