The role of Head of Engineering Manager ANZ is responsible for providing strategic direction to the Botany Environment and Engineering functions. As the Head of Engineering Manager you will develop, maintain and continuously improve maintenance and engineering strategies for our Botany site. This role forms a part of our Supply Chain Leadership Team (SCLT) and is also responsible for leading and inspiring a team.
A Taste Of What You’ll Be Doing:
- Set the direction and policy for all engineering related matters, managing the P&L and effectively communicating strategy with the business and direct team
- Be the owner of the Technical Centre of project deployment (Facilities, Utilities, Sustainability and Reliability maintenance) always adhering to compliance and regulations
- Take the lead with site capability, taking ownership of all technical training for the team, whilst promoting an environment of inclusivity/diversity
- Ensures site has leadership for site technology life cycle management for Process, Packaging, PCIS, Utilities, and Facilities systems
- Site Technical leadership of smart factory digitization journey
- Builds and maintains Plant Technical Masterplan, includes 10 year facility and asset plan
- Ensures plant facility and utilities systems are part of plants Autonomous Maintenance and Reliability Maintenance journey and maintenance systems are in place.
Your Recipe For Success:
To be successful in this role, you will be able to use your technical expertise to develop cutting edge strategies, whilst also using your previous people leadership experience to bring everyone on the journey with you.
You will have:
- Relevant Bachelor of Science degree in either Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical or another related field
- Up to 10 years’ experience relevant experience with a background within FMCG particularly food
- Technical knowledge across multiple disciplines
- Previous working experience within a factory environment
- Previous experience leading teams with demonstrable experience of fostering an environment of inclusion and diversity
