Title: Food Safety Manager

Responsible for upholding high standards of food safety and compliance across our European Supply Chain, this role is central to protecting our consumers, customers, products, and reputation by championing a culture of quality and food safety.
This is a proactive partnering role, working collaboratively across the business to strengthen quality and food safety programmes and build organisational capability. You’ll further develop and embed the Kellanova Work Systems (KWS) model to drive improvement and reduce losses, managing key food safety initiatives in close partnership with global and regional stakeholders.
This is a fixed term role until the End of January 2027.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver Functional OGSM and Master Planning - Lead the development and execution of the Functional OGSM (Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Measures) and Master Planning processes. This involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define clear objectives and measurable goals, establish robust strategies for achieving these targets, and track progress using relevant metrics.
- Global Food Safety COP representative for Europe - Serve as the European representative for the Global Food Safety Community of Practice (CoP), sharing regional insights, aligning local programmes with global standards, and driving consistent best practices across sites and stakeholders.
- External Bodies and Subject Interest Groups (Europe) - Represent the European region in relevant external industry bodies and subject interest groups, staying close to emerging regulatory and scientific developments and bringing actionable insights back into internal risk management, standards, and capability-building.
- Own VACCP Gap Assessment, documentation and continuous improvement - Lead the European VACCP programme (Vulnerability Assessment and Critical Control Points) by completing routine gap assessments, maintaining clear and audit-ready documentation, and driving continuous improvement actions with sites and suppliers to strengthen controls against food fraud and ensure ongoing alignment with internal standards and external expectations.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Willingness to travel as required, with strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and site leadership.
- Self-motivated and resilient, with a continuous learning mindset and the humility to support teams in improving performance.
- Able to translate complex technical concepts and requirements into clear, practical guidance across cultures and languages.
- In-depth working knowledge of BRCGS, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, or other GFSI-recognised standards, and their practical application in the food industry.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
