Title:  Food Designer

We are looking for a Food Designer to join our productivity & network optimisation team. You’ll focus on our cereal and k-snacks portfolio, delivering projects that drive bottom-line growth and provide technical support across the supply chain. 

Your role will be based between media city office and our centre of excellence in Trafford Park until June 26 then centre of excellence at dragon offices Haydock from July 26 onwards and on a hybrid work schedule with some occasional travel nationally and internationally.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Product Development Leadership: Lead product development across the Cereal and K‑Snacks portfolio, from bench to launch
• Manufacturing Support: Provide technical support to manufacturing plants and co‑manufacturers across the UK and internationally
• Cost Optimisation: Drive cost savings through recipe innovation, ingredient scoping, and procurement collaboration
• Trials & Scale‑Up: Plan, run, and support pilot‑scale and plant trials, including testing and commissioning
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure product specifications, quality standards, and PLM documentation meet company requirements
• Cross‑Functional Partnering: Act as a technical expert across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Nutrition, Marketing, and Procurement
• Stakeholder Engagement: Present project updates and contribute to key meetings, supplier sessions, and innovation forums

We’re Looking for Someone With

• A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or equivalent, or relevant hands‑on food processing experience
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of product development
• A passion for creative, consumer‑led product development within the food sector
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams
• A proactive, results‑driven mindset, keeping the consumer at the heart of everything we do
