Title:  Assistant Food Designer

We’re looking for a Assistant Food Technologist to join us on a fixed-term contract until the end of 2026. You’ll have experience working in factory environments and will support the delivery of a large network relocation project. You’ll be part of a team of 24 technologists responsible for delivering bottom-line growth for the Kellanova business across cereal and snack products. Based between our Media City office, Trafford Park, and Wrexham plants, the role will also require regular national and occasional international travel.

You will report to the Senior Productivity Food Designer and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support the relocation of production lines between manufacturing sites.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Product evaluation – Baselining current products prior to relocation.
• Supporting line moves – Working as part of a team on production line relocations, including commissioning, qualification, and process verification.
• Food reviews – Leading and participating in product and process reviews with key stakeholders.
• Documenting process parameters – Recording and developing current process settings and operating conditions.
• Supporting optimisation activities – Assisting with wider productivity and network optimisation tasks, including business continuity, cost saving initiatives, and general technical support.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• Experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical processes.
• Excellent analytical and observational skills.
