Title:  Process Engineer

Description: 

Join us as a Process Engineer where you’ll play a key role in supporting safe, high‑quality, and efficient food manufacturing at our Rome, GA facility—home of Rice Krispies Treats production. This is an on‑site role on day shift with flexibility to support after‑hours needs as required.

You’ll be part of a dedicated and collaborative team focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to lead impactful initiatives including safety enhancements, new product launches, and cost‑saving projects. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Driving Productivity Projects - Lead KSUM (Kellanova Start Up Management) productivity initiatives from concept through implementation, partnering closely with the CI Manager and Engineering team, and delivering at least two costsavings projects annually.
  • Optimize Processes & Best Practices – Improve plant production processes to enhance flow, reduce losses, lower inventory costs, and strengthen efficiency across all shifts and lines.
  • Coaching & Leadership – Use Kellanova Work Systems tools to develop highperforming teams, identify and mitigate losses, build sustainable solutions, and ensure control plans are in place.
  • Establishing Standards & KPIs – Create and maintain manufacturing standards for production lines while tracking and reporting progress through key performance indicators.
  • Providing Technical Expertise – Offer professional support on production processes, equipment requirements, and technical specifications to ensure operational reliability and quality.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or a HS Diploma/GED with relevant work experience
  • Experience in safety, ingredient management, manufacturing processes, and packaging operations
  • Knowledge of quality and food safety requirements, including GMP
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles in a manufacturing environment 

 

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $107,800 - $141,540, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
