Junior production supervisor
Are you passionate about data and ready to drive impactful decisions? Join our Supply Chain team as a Junior production supervisror. You’ll be responsible for supporting production processes by ensuring product quality, safety, and efficiency, while leading a frontline operations team.
In this entry-level role designed for early-career professionals, you’ll take part in daily decision-making, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and coordinate cross-functional activities to meet production goals. This is an onsite role located Querétaro, México.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Operational Oversight and Production Management: Responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe manufacturing of high-quality food products, meeting safety, food safety, and cost standards. Oversees production lines, adjusts daily priorities, and ensures proper execution of the production plan.
- Team Leadership and Continuous Improvement: Manages line personnel while fostering a positive and productive work environment. Supports the team in root cause analysis, encourages continuous improvement, and drives the achievement of aligned goals across all shifts.
- Quality and Food Safety Control: Ensures compliance with the Food Safety and Quality Management System standards. Actively participates in audits, oversees proper execution of quality records, and supports quality team members in maintaining regulatory compliance throughout the process.
- KPI Monitoring and Data Management: Tacks key performance indicators, daily checklists, routine verifications, and visual boards. Analyzes critical product and process data to ensure decisions are informed and based on reliable and up-to-date information.
- Safety, Maintenance, and Cross-Functional Coordination: Identifies and manages daily safety risks. Leads preventive and corrective actions, collaborating with departments such as HR, Maintenance, and Quality to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient operations.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree in Production, Industrial, or Food Engineering.
- Intermediate English proficiency.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
- Internship or professional experience in similar roles such as Production Supervisor, Production Coordinator, or related positions (3 years)
- Availability to work rotating shifts
