Title: Foreign Trade Ocean Exports Supervisor LATAM
Do you have a passion for driving operational excellence in logistics while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and cost optimization? Join our OTR Export team as a Foreign Trade Coordinator. In this role, you’ll manage Over the Road (OTR) exports from Mexico to the US and Central America, coordinating shipping locations, 4PLs, local and foreign customs brokers, carriers, contractors, and other parties to ensure shipments are executed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with Kellanova’s policies
You’ll also integrate and present insights during the bidding process for OTR lanes with LATAM Procurement, ensuring all operational conditions, SLAs, billing instructions, and contracts are complete and timely. Your work will help the region maximize service levels, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support the growth of Kellanova’s Business Units, making this a key role in the company’s operational success. This position is based in Querétaro.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Shipping & Operations: Coordinate Supply Chain and Control Tower to ensure on-time exports to US & CENAM.
- Cost & Efficiency: Monitor distribution costs, lead times, and implement improvements.
- Customs Compliance: Standardize procedures, manage risks, and ensure supplier alignment.
- Supplier Performance: Set SLAs, track KPIs, and develop reliable supplier partnerships.
- Financial & Bidding Support: Manage budgets, landed costs, foreign trade logs, and OTR bids.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Experience in international road freight transportation across LATAM, especially from Mexico.
- Expertise in cross-border operations, logistics supplier management, bidding, and invoice settlement.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
- Over 4 years of experience in foreign trade operations and/or transportation.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and operational efficiency in LATAM markets.
