Are you passionate about business and ready to drive impactful decisions? Join our Supply Chain team as a Corrective Maintenance Supervisor. You’ll be responsible for leading and coordinating corrective maintenance activities across processing and packaging lines, ensuring the continuity of operations while maintaining strict safety, quality, and food safety standards. Managing a team of 8 technicians, you will oversee resource allocation, budget control, and technical support across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems.This role is located Querétaro, Méxco.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordination and execution of corrective maintenance: Leads the planning and execution of corrective maintenance tasks, additional work orders, and urgent repairs. Acts as a liaison with the engineering team and ensures timely attention to failures on processing and packaging lines
- Team management and technical leadership: Responsible for supervising a team of 8 maintenance technicians, ensuring their development, assigning tasks, and supporting the acquisition of technical knowledge in areas such as mechanics, electricity, instrumentation, and automation.
- Resource and budget management: Efficiently manages labor, materials, and financial resources to carry out maintenance activities in alignment with production needs and budget constraints, while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards.
- Support of production continuity and standards compliance: Ensures continuous operation of production lines by promptly resolving equipment failures, while maintaining strict adherence to Quality, Food Safety, and Sanitary Policies
- Improvement and project implementation: Drives improvement initiatives within the maintenance area, implements the KWS (Kellanova Work Systems) methodology, and oversees small- to mid-scale technical projects aimed at optimizing performance and reliability of production assets.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within industrial environments
- Intermediate English level (able to present information).
- Strong technical knowledge in corrective and preventive maintenance, with proven experience in mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems.
- Experience using SAP for planning, tracking, and documenting maintenance activities.
- Team leadership and resource management skills, with the ability to coordinate technicians, optimize labor and materials, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety and food quality standards.
