Title:  Brand Manager Innovation - Contract

Description: 

As a Brand Manager Innovation (12 Month Contract), you will be responsible for responsible for leading innovation projects for our Canadian Sweet Snacking portfolio on brands like Rice Krispies Squares Bars and RXBAR.  You will lead the innovation process from idea generation to launch and you will have the opportunity to delight Canadian consumers with new foods designed to meet their changing taste and health preferences. This is a hybrid role based out of our Mississauga office.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Developing Innovation Pipeline and Strategy – Develop a sustainable brand pipeline of innovations and renovations to help unlock growth across innovation, renovation and claims. Strategically assess the feasibility, and financial merits of an innovation, ensuring key stakeholders and senior leadership are aligned toward launch approval and commercialization recommendations.
  • Lead Consumer Validation - Lead research initiatives through qualitative and quantitative consumer testing to validate and optimize ideas, determine size of prize and support internal and external sell in.
  • Managing Winning Projects – Manage a diverse portfolio of innovation and renovation projects. Lead cross-functional projects that improve the business in both short and long term such as innovations, reformulations and format adjustments. Your team building skills will help you cultivate strong working relationships with key partners like sales, finance, operations and research.
  • Driving Successful Execution – Support the achievement of innovation volume and profitability targets. You’ll monitor brand and competitive innovation activity and create actions to address implications.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Post Secondary degree or diploma with a focus on business and marketing or equivalent work experience
  • Brand marketing or innovation-related experience in a consumer-packaged goods company at brand manager or equivalent level
  • Experience in strategy development and project management
  • Excellent communication and persuasion skills, combined with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
