Title: Logistic Engineer
Are you passionate about logistics and want to contribute to the global distribution of Pringles? This could be your opportunity.
The Kellanova site in Mechelen is one of the largest and most important Pringles production facilities in the world. With over 650 employees, we produce Pringles for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa – in more than 30 flavours! Our nearby Malinas Warehouse supports the storage and distribution of Pringles and other Kellanova products.
Your future job:
As a Logistics Engineer, you’ll be part of the Malinas Distribution Team. In this key role, you will be responsible for mapping, streamlining, and optimizing logistics processes — both within our warehouse and in collaboration with partners across our European supply chain.
You’ll focus on identifying inefficiencies and waste within the warehouse and the broader end-to-end network. You’ll also assess investment opportunities that could reduce logistics costs. In addition, you will work closely with our logistics partner GXO to continuously improve operations at the Malinas site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand various logistical flows within the warehouse and the broader network, including our in-house co-packing operations.
- Manage a portfolio of Loss Elimination projects and track progress.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and align with internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as a backup for co-pack planners or the stock controller during absences.
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management or equivalent experience.
- Strong command of both Dutch and English — with the ability to communicate effectively in an international, virtual team environment.
- Detail-oriented with solid planning and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to manage your workload independently.
- Flexible and capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Comfortable working with SAP, MS Excel, and MS Teams.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe to support projects and co-packing operations.
What can we offer you?
A stimulating work environment where teamwork, respect, and inclusivity are key — everyone has a seat at our table.
A 12-month temporary contract with a competitive salary package, and potential for extension.
Opportunities for professional growth through training and coaching.
Your workplace will be at our Malinas Warehouse.
