Title: Engineering and Maintenance Manager
Join our team as an Engineering and Maintenance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to manage financial and human resources that ensure the plant operates in optimal conditions. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, oversee asset care programs, and align with safety, quality, food safety, and operations teams to meet manufacturing objectives efficiently and sustainably.
You will also oversee Utilities and Facilities Maintenance strategies, driving energy efficiency initiatives and maximizing equipment availability and performance. This role is key to maintaining infrastructure reliability, minimizing downtime, and optimizing long-term operational results. This position is based in Linares, Nuevo Leon
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Operational Continuity and Compliance: Ensures uninterrupted plant operations while meeting food safety and occupational safety standards.
- Budget and Utilities Management: Manages the maintenance budget and ensures efficient use and continuous supply of electricity, steam, compressed air, chilled water, and treated water.
- Leadership and Talent Development: Builds internal leadership pipelines, promotes diversity and inclusion, and ensures completion of individual development plans.
- Maintenance Strategy and Reliability: Implements structured practices to ensure long-term equipment performance and infrastructure reliability.
- Modernization and Technology Upgrade: Leads equipment renewal and technology upgrades to strengthen the plant’s competitiveness and sustainability.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Engineering bachelor´s degree
- Minimum of 4-year experience in operations experience, manufacturing and maintenance
- Fluent Spanish and English
- Minimum 6-year experience in leadership skills
