Title:  Sanitation Supervisor

Join our team at Kellanova’s Kansas City Bakery as a Sanitation Supervisor and help us deliver safe, high-quality products to consumers every day. The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating all sanitation activities within the bakery to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and company standards. This position oversees sanitation employees, verifies the effectiveness of cleaning and sanitizing activities, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and ensures equipment and production areas are maintained in a hygienic condition to support safe food production.

The Sanitation Supervisor works closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Food Safety teams to promote a strong food safety culture and ensure all sanitation programs are executed effectively and consistently.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead Sanitation Operations – Supervise and direct sanitation team members during daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning activities
• Maintain Cleaning Standards – Ensure all sanitation tasks are completed according to approved Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs). Ensure proper use, handling, storage, and application of sanitation chemicals.
• Drive Compliance & Safety – Verify equipment, utensils, floors, overheads, and facility infrastructure are cleaned and sanitized to established standards. Conduct pre-operational inspections and verify readiness for production.
• Monitor and Coordinate – Monitor and verify chemical concentrations using approved testing methods. Coordinate sanitation activities to minimize operational downtime while maintaining food safety standards.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• High School diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing sanitation, food safety, or production leadership.
• Ability to read and interpret SOPs, SSOPs, and safety procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of GMP, food safety, and sanitation practices.
