Title:  Logistics Supervisor

Join our high-performing team at Kellanova’s state-of-the-art Kansas City, KS bakery, where innovation, collaboration, and excellence come together to create some of the most beloved snack brands. As a Logistics Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, leading teams, and supporting the production of high-quality products that delight consumers every day. You’ll lead with purpose, drive continuous improvement, and help shape a culture rooted in safety, quality, and teamwork.

 

This position operates on a 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift, following a 2-2-3 schedule (alternating between Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday, Thursday every other week).

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Logistics Support- Lead all activities on your assigned shift, working towards production goals, managing material changes, and adhering to schedules.
  • Continuous Improvement- Drive continuous improvement efforts from ideation to execution, utilizing tools such as 5S, RCA, and LEAN. Your owner’s mindset will be essential in this process.
  • Impact Results- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and waste, increase efficiency, and eliminate safety risks by applying Kellanova Work Systems (KWS/TPM) principles.
  • Collaborate to Win - Foster a culture of inclusion and collaboration across all departments to achieve goals and meet ongoing production needs.
  • Direction and Leadership- Provide direction and support to your team of operators, demonstrating strong people skills and leadership.
  • Safety First- Uphold our core values by prioritizing the safety of our people and food. A safety-first attitude is key to our success.
  • Leading Logistics Operations - Oversee all logistics activities on your assigned shift, including material flow, production support, and schedule adherence to meet daily goals.
  • Driving Continuous Improvement - Champion initiatives using tools like 5S, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and LEAN to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance safety.
  • Delivering Results - Apply Kellanova Work Systems (KWS/TPM) principles to identify cost-saving opportunities, eliminate risks, and boost productivity.
  • Fostering Collaboration - Build strong cross-functional relationships and promote a culture of inclusion, teamwork, and shared success.
  • Providing Direction and Support - Lead and develop a team of operators, offering clear guidance, coaching, and accountability to drive performance.
  • Prioritizing Safety and Quality - Uphold our commitment to safety—for both people and food—by maintaining rigorous standards and promoting a safety-first mindset.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Strong understanding of safety and quality systems and compliance.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.

 

Compensation

The annual salary range is $74,700 - $98,070, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
