Title:  Domestic Transport Planner (m/f/d) - 12 months contract

As a Domestic Transportation Planner (m/f/d) for the next 12 months, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, supporting the day-to-day transportation deliveries for select European markets. You’ll get the chance to manage communications with suppliers, partner with various departments, and continuously seek out opportunities to improve current processes.

We offer flexible working hours and a hybrid work model, allowing you to divide your time between our modern office in Hamburg’s old town and your home office.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Daily Transportation Planning - Plan and execute the day-to-day transportation deliveries for DACH markets. Review and ensure all shipments have been successfully planned and executed, taking appropriate corrective actions when required.
  • Supplier Communication & Optimization - Manage communications with suppliers for optimal execution of transportation plans. Analyse and optimize transportation and execution activities. Provide ongoing visibility into transportation movements and performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner effectively with customer service representatives, supply planning organization, warehousing and distribution organization with a focus on increased value and benefit realization.
  • Operational Support - Liaise internally to support the implementation of operational and system improvements.
     

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Management, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as efficient communication abilities.
  • Experience in supply chain coordination, logistics planning, transport planning, coupled with the ability to manage customer and supplier relationships.
  • Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft tools; proficiency in SAP SD & TMS systems is a plus.
  • An advanced English level. German – conversational level.
