Title:  Procurement Operations Specialist

Description: 

As a Procurement Operations Specialist, you will manage the end-to-end inbound supply chain for raw materials within our direct sourcing area to ensure lean operations, continuity, and high service levels. Based out of our Corporate Office, you will work closely with Commercial Operations Category Leads and Sourcing Managers to drive the implementation of regional sourcing strategies and deliver cost savings. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a productivity pipeline and collaborate cross-functionally with R&D and Supply Divisions, making a direct impact on our manufacturing success and supplier performance.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Inbound Supply Continuity – Assure the continuity of the inbound supply of raw materials into product manufacturing locations through the application of targeted supply chain strategies.
  • Risk Mitigation & Issue Resolution – Act as the primary factory liaison to lead supply risk mitigation plans, resolve inbound supply chain issues, and ensure zero food safety-related issues.
  • Strategic Sourcing Collaboration – Partner with direct material Sourcing Managers to provide input to the Category Sourcing Strategy and execute lean improvement action plans.
  • Supplier Relationship Management – Manage supplier relationships to ensure supplier performance and adherence to quality standards, while supporting new product launches and line extensions.

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • High school diploma and 5 years of experience, or an Associate’s Degree with 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Procurement.
  • Competence in SAP Systems or similar ERP software.
  • Experience with continuous improvement, supply chain optimization, and supplier relationship management in a manufacturing and operations environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $74,511- $97,795.95, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
