Title:  Short-Term Capacity Specialist (6 Months Fixed Term Contract)

Description: 

Take the leap as a Short-Term Capacity Specialist (6 months fixed-term contract) where you will work with various stakeholders to analyze supply risks and propose solutions that improve service levels and reduce costs. You will ensure that Co-Manufacturers can plan materials and schedules to meet promotional requirements. Additionally, you will manage inventory and transport between the co-manufacturer and the company, resolving any issues to minimize financial risk.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Managing On-Pack Promotion Changes: Define packaging needs and review finished goods inventory held with manufacturers and in-market demand planners to achieve correct promotional rotation. Aim for zero write-off of packaging components.
  • Providing Timely Updates Transactions: Ensure all transactions supporting the buy & sell of company materials are updated promptly.
  • Resolving Unpaid Invoices and Financial Variances: Address unpaid invoices from suppliers or financial variances to balance accounts and reduce financial risk. Identify goods receipt/invoice receipt variances for Co-Manufacturing loads weekly.
  • Engaging with Stakeholders: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to assess and rectify variances, ensuring accurate inventory records. Provide month-end reports on variance progress to Procurement, Distribution to resolve issues.
  • Communicating Changes to Co-Man Loads: Ensure changes to loads are effectively communicated to Transport Planning and Co-Manufacturing sites in a timely manner to ensure smooth supply.

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in a quantitative field (Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field).
  • Language skills – Advanced level of English, Spanish as a second language represents an advantage.
  • Proficiency in working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of all aspects of Supply Chain operations, especially in key areas such as Supply/Production Planning, Customer Service, including best practices, technologies, processes, procedures, and tools.
