Title:  Maintenance Coordinator

Description: 

Join us at our Blue Anchor Eggo facility as a Maintenance Coordinator, where you’ll play a critical role in coordinating daily maintenance activities, supporting plant operations, and ensuring our technicians have what they need to keep production running safely and efficiently. In this handson leadership role, youll guide skilled mechanics, respond to real-time equipment issues, and support a culture focused on safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. This position operates on a 12hour A/B shift schedule within a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Youll collaborate with technicians, production teams, and planners to keep work moving smoothly, reduce downtime, and elevate the effectiveness of our maintenance organization.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Set the Pace: You will be overseeing daytoday maintenance activities, assigning work orders, and ensuring technicians have the right tools, permits, and information to perform tasks safely and efficiently. You will be monitoring shift progress, adjusting plans dynamically, and ensuring alignment with production demands.
  • Drive Change: You will be supporting a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement by ensuring adherence to OSHA, GMP, and plant policies. You will be participating in Tier meetings and supporting communication between departments to improve workflow and reduce barriers.
  • Strategize to Win: You will be acting as the primary point of contact for maintenance troubleshooting across manufacturing, utilities, and packaging operations.
  • You will be teaching, coaching, and mentoring mechanics while fostering strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Drive Efficiency: You will be responding to unplanned equipment issues with urgency and coordinating rapid rootcause troubleshooting efforts. You will be evaluating preventive maintenance execution and identifying opportunities to improve equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Impact Results: You will ensure accurate documentation and followthrough on work orders, including corrective actions and preventive recommendations. You will help identify critical spare parts, supporting backlog management, and assisting the planner/scheduler as needed.
  • Take a New Angle: You will be leading equipment failure investigations and supporting FMEA efforts to strengthen longterm reliability. You will be supporting process improvements, sanitation expectations, and proper changeover activities for optimal line performance.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Class “A” Mechanical qualification with strong electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • SAP and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Experience in industrial or food manufacturing maintenance, with strong understanding of PMs, changeovers, and equipment rebuilds.
  • Strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and instructions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, mentoring, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in hot/cold environments, climb ladders, and safely access elevated work areas.
