    • The Finance organization plays a critical role as a strategic partner to management by driving business growth while ensuring sustainable profitability.
    • The Supply Chain Finance team provides financial insights that support business decision-making through visibility and optimization of cost structures across the end-to-end supply chain.
    • You will collaborate as a business partner with key stakeholders such as Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Logistics, Procurement and Engineering, contributing to business growth through effective business partnering.  

 

  • Location of the role
    • Based at Nihon Kellogg G.K. Takasaki Plant, 250 Daishinden -machi, Takasaki-shi, Gunma.
    • Flextime work system
    • Remote work available; minimum 3 days per week in office

    • Supply Chain Finance is part of the Finance organization (Finance Department)
    • Office location: Takasaki Plant Office, Gunma
    • The team consists of one manager and three staff members

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Monthly Closing, Reporting & Analysis – Execute accurate and timely monthly closing for COM (Cost of Manufacturing) and COGS (Cost of Goods Sold). Perform variance analysis and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and the region SC Finance team.
  • Budgeting/ Forecasting & Cost Optimization – Lead the annual budget process for COM/COGS and quarterly forecasting and manage performance against targets. Conduct variance analysis and propose improvement actions to plant management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure achievement of COGS saving targets.

 

  • Inventory Planning & Analysis – Prepare inventory budgets and analyze variances versus actuals. Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to propose improvement actions that support optimal cash flow and working capital levels.
  • Fixed Asset Management – Manage fixed assets at the plant, including acquisition, transfer, disposal, and depreciation monitoring. Maintain accurate asset ledgers and ensure proper financial controls through CIP management and physical inventory check.

 

  • Compliance & Financial Controls – Ensure compliance with SOX 404, internal audits, and external audit requirements within the Supply Chain Finance scope.

 

  • Other Responsibilities – Partner with internal Finance teams and overseas outsourced partners (Shared Service) to drive business process improvement. Provide necessary support for various requests from Plant Director, Finance Director, Region team and overseas entities.

 

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Finance or FP&A
  • Business-level English proficiency (both written and spoken)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure and interpret data, and logically identify issues and solutions
