Finance Controller – Thailand
(THLRD + Rayong Manufacturing)
We are seeking a highly capable Finance Controller – Thailand to lead all controllership activities for THLRD and Rayong Manufacturing. This role is responsible for safeguarding financial integrity, ensuring robust compliance with Thai statutory and tax regulations, driving strong internal controls, and partnering with supply chain and commercial teams to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting.
As Thailand transitions through integration and the new LRD operating model, this role will play a critical part in building sustainable governance, overseeing complex accounting flows, and enabling accurate statutory, tax and management reporting. This individual will also serve as the finance lead for the Rayong factory, overseeing plant performance, compliance, audit readiness, and business partnering.

Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Lead month-end close for Thailand entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting compliant with Thai GAAP, US GAAP, and corporate policies.
- Manage all Balance Sheet accounts, including reconciliations, GR/IR aging, IC validations, and variance analysis.
- Ensure strong compliance with Thai VAT, WHT, Corporate Income Tax, transfer pricing requirements, and local statutory obligations.
- Own external audit, statutory financial statements, and coordination with auditors, authorities, and advisors.

Thailand LRD Controllership:
- Oversee complex LRD accounting flows: IC billing, trade, inventory, COGS, revenue recognition, and OPEX allocation.
- Ensure correct segmentation for transfer pricing markup, including system mapping and manual governance until SAP readiness.
- Partner with Commercial and Supply Chain to ensure compliant pricing, credit terms, and IC flows.
- Manage hard‑copy document controls, local retention requirements, and audit trails per Thai regulatory rules.
Plant Finance – Rayong Manufacturing
- Provide financial oversight of Rayong plant activities including overhead, and absorption.
- Support manufacturing leadership with cost insights, efficiency tracking, capital spending governance.
- Ensure plant compliance with SOX, internal controls, and corporate accounting policies.
Tax, Duty & Statutory Governance
- Oversee monthly tax filings: PND1/3/53/54, PP30, PP36, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Lead annual CIT filing, tax audit support, and statutory ledger preparation.
- Maintain compliance with Thai hard‑copy documentation requirements and document retention rules.
- Partner with corporate tax on transfer pricing documentation, tax simulations, TP adjustments and year‑end alignment.
Cash Flow Management:
- Build and maintain cash flow estimates, focusing on key cycles and working capital
- Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available to meet financial obligations.
- Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize financial risks.
- Prepare financial forecasts, annual budgets, and variance analysis
- Develop contingency plans and scenarios to proactively address potential future challenges.
Risk Management:
- Assess and manage financial risks, including currency exposure and credit risk.
- Lead SOX404 compliance and testing
- Recommend risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s financial position.
- Provide business advice to the Finance Controller and Finance Director for sound decision-making on cash flow management, hedge accounting, accounting policies, etc.
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management:
- Partner closely with Commercial, SC, Manufacturing, Region Finance, GBS, Audit and Corporate.
- Provide insights, guidance, and financial evaluation for operational and strategic decisions.
- Support integration activities, including process redesign, systems readiness, and future‑state controls.

Team Leadership:
- Provide coaching, capability building, and oversight to Thailand finance team members.
- Set clear KPIs, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA or professional qualification preferred.
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in Controllership, Accounting, or Plant Finance.
- Strong knowledge of Thai GAAP, IFRS/US GAAP, and local tax regulations.
- Experience managing statutory audit, VAT/WHT filings, and Corporate Income Tax.
- Plant finance or cost accounting experience preferred.
- SAP experience is strongly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, communication, and business partnering skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage complexity, and influence cross-functional teams.
