Junior Finance Analyst

Are you passionate about data and ready to drive impactful decisions? Join our Business Intelligence team as a Junior Finance Analyst.  You’ll be responsible for tracking and analyzing plant costs, preparing financial reports, and explaining key cost variations, including price differences in purchased materials and changes in production costs. You will execute the monthly cost closing process, calculate intercompany prices for budgeting, and provide financial visibility to support strategic decision-making.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Monthly cost tracking and period close: Monitor factory expenses and cost entries impacting plant cost centers during the period close. Record accruals or manual journal entries as needed. Compare actual costs against the budget and strategic outlook, ensuring accurate financial reporting. Deliver the plant P&L statement every month.
• Cost close execution and finalization: Perform the monthly cost close process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial policies. Validate and confirm final cost figures with the regional finance head before submission.
• Cost variance analysis and reporting: Provide financial visibility into Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) movements. Identify and explain key cost drivers, offering insights for decision-making and financial planning.
• Intercompany pricing and budget support: Calculate intercompany prices for all SKUs produced by the plant as part of the finance budget process. Ensure alignment with corporate pricing policies and regional financial strategies.
• Financial support and process alignment: Support the finance plant team by providing expertise in cost processes, ensuring compliance with corporate policies. Assist in implementing financial best practices to improve cost efficiency and reporting accuracy.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, administration, accounting or related.
• Must have PC skills with emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• English intermediated /advanced
• 2 Years of previous experience in similar positions (cost or finance analysis)
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
