Title:  Credit and Collections Team Lead

Description: 

Join our GBS as a Credit and Collections Team Lead and lead the credit and collections agenda for top customer accounts in Mexico, combining hands-on execution with people leadership to protect cash flow and manage financial risk. Based in Querétaro, the position operates in a flexible environment to ensure close oversight of both the team and customer operations.

 

You will be part of the Invoice to Cash organization, working closely with Finance, Commercial, and Customer Development teams across the Mexico market. What makes this role exciting is the opportunity to manage complex, high-impact accounts while developing leadership capabilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Top Customer Credit & Collections Management — Own and execute credit and collections activities for key Mexico customers, including large national retailers, ensuring timely payments and strong customer relationships.
  • Credit Risk & Limit Analysis — Analyze credit limits, assess financial risk, and follow up on bad debt exposure in coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • People Leadership & Supervision — Lead and supervise a small team, providing guidance, prioritizing workloads, and ensuring consistent execution of daily operations.
  • Operational Execution & Reporting — Deliver monthly reporting, support audits, and contribute to balance sheet reviews and other control activities.
  • CrossFunctional Collaboration Partner with Finance, Commercial, and Customer Development teams to resolve complex issues and manage challenging stakeholder conversations.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in credit, collections, or invoice-to-cash roles, supporting the Mexico market.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
  • Strong financial and accounting knowledge, including credit analysis.
  • Experience managing large or strategic customer accounts within Mexico.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Excel.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
