Are you passionate about data and ready to drive impactful decisions? Join our Finance team as a Collection Analist.  You’ll be responsible for supporting the validation, documentation, and recovery of invalid customer deductions while maintaining accurate tracking logs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve open cases, assist with month-end reconciliation activities, and prepare deduction summaries. This role is located in Querétaro, México, with the expectation to be in the office 5 days per week – subject to change. Travel is required on a demand basis (punctual field visits, specific ad-hoc projects).

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Invalid deduction management: Validate, document, and support the recovery of invalid customer deductions to ensure proper handling of ITC processes and protect regional cash flow.
  • Dispute package preparation: Prepare and submit complete dispute packages with the required evidence to recover invalid claims efficiently and accurately.
  • Deduction, tracking and data accuracy: Update and maintain deduction tracking logs, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity of all data within the accounts receivable and deduction processes.
  • Cross functional collaboration: Work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to gather documentation, resolve open cases, and maintain smooth end-to-end deduction operations
  • Month end and continuous improvement support: Assist in month-end activities such as reconciling deduction balances and preparing summaries, while contributing to process improvements that enhance research and recovery efficiency.

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with 2 – 3 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable or collections processes; familiarity with SAP and HighRadius is considered a plus.
  • Advanced level of English and effective communication skills
