Title:  Bank Account Reconciliation Analyst

Are you passionate about understanding the story behind cash movements, analyzing transactions, and resolving discrepancies across multiple markets? Join our Finance team as an Bank Account Reconciliation Analyst and play a key role in connecting financial data with real business activities across the LATAM region.

 

In this role, you will be continuously reviewing deposits and payments, investigating open items, and identifying transaction drivers while collaborating closely with regional and cross-functional teams.This position is based at our GBS Center in Querétaro, Mexico, in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Cash management and reconciliations – Manage bank and cash account reconciliations for the LATAM region, ensuring balances match by cross-checking bank statements against SAP records, including follow-up and investigation of open items.
  • Payments and cash reporting – Calculate and prepare the daily Cash Position report to be shared with treasury, process corporate payments, and confirm accurate cash outflows while ensuring correct reconciliation processes for all cash transactions.
  • Stakeholder collaboration – Act as a key point of contact for regional teams (CARICAM, Brazil, and Colombia) and cross-functional areas such as Payroll, Taxes, Invoice to Cash, Logistics, and HR, correctly assigning transactions based on their nature and providing timely visibility to relevant stakeholders
  • Audit, control and compliance – Meet departmental KPIs and metrics, prepare monthly reconciliations for internal and external audits (PwC, SOX), provide support for internal controls, and ensure ongoing compliance with corporate policies.
  • Accounting analysis – Identify and classify reconciling items, and apply accounting fundamentals (debits, credits, and transaction nature) to support accurate reconciliations and issue resolution.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, with solid understanding of accounting principles, including debits, credits, and transaction classification
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role performing bank and cash account reconciliations, identifying reconciling items, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Strong Excel skills to perform reconciliations and analysis using functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and Pivot Tables.
  • Strong English and Spanish communication skills.
