Title:  Accounting Assistant

Description: 

Are you ready to support financial operations at Kellanova? Join our Finance team as Accounting Assistant, where you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the financial and administrative process within GBS are performed according to Kellanova Policies, SLA and Statutory Requirements, execute substantial processes, provide guidelines in accounting and corporate policies, execute analysis and reporting related to Marketing Management and work closely with Finance teams to deliver expected results. This is an onsite position in Querétaro, México.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Investment Management and Expense Control: Track, control, and accurately record expenses and investments in Marketing and Trade Marketing, ensuring they are properly reflected in the financial books.
  • Support and Visibility on Accounting Processes: Provide ongoing visibility into accounting movements and update information accurately in tools such as Tableau.
  • Revier and Reclassification of Expenses: Prepare reclassifications and prepaid expenses, ensuring proper recognition of costs in accordance with Kellanova policies.
  • Compliance with Policies and Internal Control: Ensure compliance with internal controls and Kellogg's policies in the management of marketing funds and collaborate with the finance team.
  • Continuous Improvement and KPIs Compliance: Meet service level agreements (SLAs) and KPIs, always seeking continuous improvement in accounting processes and investment management.

 

We're Looking For Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 2 years of experience in similar positions (expenses management and accounting processes).
  • English medium-high proficiency written and spoken.
  • Ability to engage with internal customers and team members.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to handle challenging tasks, to give visibility and to escalate issues on time.
