Title:  Senior Financial Analyst

The Sr. Financial Analyst plays a critical role in helping the plant make informed financial decisions by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting financial data. In this role, you will pair financial planning and analysis best practices to help business partners understand financial results and complex reports. This role will be located on-site at our Kansas City bakery.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Complex Cost Analysis – Develop product innovation costs for new products and analyze cost structures to identify opportunities for cost reduction or efficiency enhancement. Additionally, you'll perform complex financial analyses and generate models to support decision-making across different business teams, using these insights to make recommendations across functions.
• Operational Collaboration – In a consultative capacity, you will work closely with the plant to ensure financial goals and strategies are achieved. Monitor and report on key financial and non-financial performance indicators, focusing on Overhead, Cost Savings, and Cost Avoidance. Deliver and integrate plans for executional excellence and develop complex financial analysis insights and solutions.
• Ad-Hoc Reporting and Projects – Manage project execution and completion, track key due dates, identify opportunities and risks, and monitor financial metrics. Fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests as needed.
• Proactive Financial Stewardship – As an integral member of the finance team, recommend budget updates, forecast and identify ways to close gaps and meet challenges. Review and translate assumptions into a financial budget/forecast for management review. Ensure accurate monthly financial closing/reporting, submit results, and review with supply chain leadership.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
• Analytical Prowess: Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills for high-level data analysis and financial modeling.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in financial software, including Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools, and familiarity with SAP systems.
