Title: Plant Controller

As Plant Controller, you’ll be a key member of the senior leadership team steering daily financial strategy, influencing plant performance, and empowering a talented finance group. Your expertise will fuel our ambitious goals and keep our facility thriving in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
You’ll lead a passionate team including a Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analyst, and Payroll Clerk, developing their skills and careers while championing financial excellence. This is more than a numbers role; it’s your opportunity to shape the plant’s future, collaborate across functions, and make your mark on a global snacking powerhouse.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage Financial Performance - Compare actuals to budgets and forecasts, analyze key drivers, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead Financial Close Cycle - Oversee the close process and ensure accuracy in operating expenses and balance sheet accounts.
- Drive the Annual Budget - Own the plant’s budget, establish overhead costs, set standards, and manage P&L impacts and cash flow. Support payroll and partner cross-functionally to evaluate capital investments and savings projects.
- Be Part of the Leadership Team - Help set direction and guidance for plant initiatives and goals and provide coaching to personnel beyond the finance team.
- Ensure Financial and Inventory Compliance - Uphold Kellanova’s accounting policies and GAAP, instill discipline around internal controls, and serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree and significant finance and managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of standard cost systems, cost analysis, and accounting procedures and controls.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP, Anaplan, and Plan View.
- Willingness to engage with plant operations by visiting production areas to understand processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop finance team members.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Experience driving process improvements and managing audits.
Compensation
The annual salary range is $135,800 - $ 178,290, which is based on various factors such as location, experience, and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
