Title:  International Account Manager 12 months FTC

Description: 

The future of food is exciting, and at Kellanova, you can shape your future as an International Account Manager for 12-month contract starting as soon as possible. In this role, you’ll lead the development and growth of retail customers within the Continental Europe.

 

Your main responsibility will be to recommend international strategies, negotiate contracts, liaise with customers, and support countries in implementing plans, while building strong, long-term relationships. This role reports to the Director of International Accounts, you will work closely with Continental EU country Sales Directors, Key account managers and Continental EU Finance Director.

 

This is a hybrid position, based in our energetic and vibrant Belgium office in Zaventem, with frequent travel across Europe for customer meetings and international team leads.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Strategic Actions – You’ll develop and advice on strategies for assigned Retail Alliances and Buying Alliances in all relevant markets, incorporating input from Country Managers and Sales Directors.
  • Pricing Vision - Aggregate and supervise pricing information across countries (3N/4N/5N) and their impacts on fully loaded P&L’s on dedicated accounts to understand pricing corridors, build business cases, and provide alternative options and recommendation to Continental Europe leadership to deliver Kellanova business ambitions.
  • Aligning Key Stakeholders - Align key stakeholders across Continental Europe and European Sales on commercial strategy, recommend approach on assigned International Customers and EU Buying Alliances.
  • International Negotiation – You’ll Lead international negotiations with assigned Customers for Int’l Services agreements ensuring compliance with key business principles, implementing agreed terms, and tracking performance to ensure positive ROI.
  • National Sales - Coordinate country Sales teams on international negotiations with EU Buying Alliances (Everest, Vasco) for Sales of Kellanova products in compliance with Kellanova European strategy, implementing agreed terms, and tracking performance to ensure positive ROI for Kellanova.
  • Collaborative Mindset - Support country sales by leveraging best practices, transferring knowledge, and addressing specific issues, while shaping Kellanova’s future business with International Customers and EU Buying Alliances through ongoing interaction, benchmarking, and long-term planning insights.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Master’s degree in management, marketing, economics or similar experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales in Group Account management within the FMCG
  • Fluent in English is a must, French and Dutch are a plus
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Strong Analytical, synthetic, and innovative mindset
