Title: Corporate Affairs Lead Benelux
Join our regional communications team as Corporate Affairs Lead Benelux, where you will play a key role in developing and implementing internal and external communications strategies to support our Benelux markets. This is a fixed-term contract of 12 months, starting around September 2025. The hybrid position offers flexibility to work both from home and at our office in Zaventem, Belgium, helping you maintain an optimal work-life balance.
Lead with us as you shape and activate our regional and local narratives to generate earned media coverage across Corporate Communications, Brand PR, and social media—promoting iconic brands like Pringles, Corn Flakes, and Trésor, and strengthening our corporate reputation. You will also contribute to our internal communications calendar and events, helping to drive employee engagement. This role reports directly to the CE Corporate Affairs Director.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead Strategic Communications - Champion both external and internal communications across corporate, brand, ESG, and public affairs domains. Set the tone and direction for impactful storytelling and employee engagement.
- Safeguard and Elevate Reputation - Act as the guardian of the company’s public image by managing media relations and cultivating a dynamic, locally resonant news cycle that builds trust and visibility.
- Oversee PR Excellence - Guide PR agency partners with clarity and precision. Ensure all public-facing materials meet the highest standards of accuracy and alignment with Kellanova’s corporate voice through rigorous internal approvals.
- Amplify Brand Advocacy - Craft compelling campaigns that spotlight Kellogg’s brands and Pringles. Engage journalists, stakeholders, and employees with stories that inspire and inform.
- Drive Public Affairs & Sustainability - Translate EU strategies into local action. Lead initiatives like Better Days, fostering meaningful connections with senior stakeholders and advancing sustainability goals.
- Strengthen Local Impact - Shape a Belgian corporate affairs agenda that highlights Kellogg’s economic footprint. Deepen ties with the Mechelen plant and local media to boost community awareness and pride.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Educated to degree level in communications, public relations, journalism, English or related discipline preferred
- Demonstrable experience in a mid-level external communications role, corporate communications and/or PR Agency
- Great influencing, project management skills and the ability to prioritise
- Working knowledge of the food industry, sustainability and related European policy matters
- Fluency in English, French and Dutch is essential
