Title:  Autonomous Maintenance Lead

As the Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Lead, you will play a pivotal role in steering our AM journey, taking ownership of its direction and success. You will focus on developing and implementing standardized processes that support the seamless integration of new equipment, ensuring that our operations remain at the forefront of innovation and efficiency. Position is located in Zanesville, Ohio and involves communication and coordination with all Kellanova Frozen food plants.  This position will require traveling to and working in, other manufacturing facilities.  50% of your time will involve traveling and may require work beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays.

In Zanesville, you will work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations teams to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). As a champion of the AM culture plant-wide, you will ensure alignment with Kellanova Work Systems (KWS), driving consistency and excellence across all levels of the organization. You will coach and mentor frontline leaders and operators, empowering them to take ownership of AM activities and drive lasting improvements.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Leadership - Serving as a member of the North American Kellanova Work Stream (KWS) AM Steering Committee, Leading category COE meeting to align direction in this and other plants. Mentor plant AM leads to improve category performance and reduce losses in manufacturing sites to increase capacity and improve margins. Collaborate with category leaders to improve criteria for manufacturing sites, report category KPI’s and align GAP plans with plant leadership.  
• Alignment – You will be a key player in collaborating with the KWS Frozen Category Director and NA AM COE leaders in implementation of AM programs in the plants.  Perform site visits to calibrate, support, and assess according to Global standards. You will also be responsible for directly aligning with our Kellanova North America Director, to ensure execution on Kellanova Work Streams phased implementation. 
• Continuous Improvement and Development - Responsible for the standardization of implementation as part of Autonomous Maintenance capability building.  Developing both system and process capabilities in manufacturing teams in all category sites. Accountable for compliance with all Employee Safety, Food Safety and Sanitation policies and regulations.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• Bachelor’s Degree or High School diploma/GED with 5+ years of autonomous maintenance experience
• Strong supervisory/managerial experience
• Broad knowledge and understanding of implementation of Autonomous Maintenance across multiple plants and teams
• Experience with SMED, 5S, and Work Process Improvement, Problem Solving, FMEA, KSUM Support.
• Effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Collaborative work style, working cross-functionally is a big part of this role

Compensation

The annual salary range is $109,100-$150,040, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
