Title: Automation and Digital Engineer
Join our team as an Automation and Digital Engineer supporting our manufacturing site in Zanesville, OH. You'll help us drive Industry 4.0, 5.0, and beyond, bringing the power of data and automation to the technicians and decision makers. As you strive towards meeting our continuous improvement goals and providing technical expertise, you will be a vital part of our facilities’ success. Your work will have our teams embracing digital tools, such as Smart Factory apps, AI, machine learning, and analytics, while ensuring compliance with all safety and quality regulations.
As a key member of our plant leadership team, you'll serve as the plant's digital leader. You'll collaborate closely with other departments to streamline processes, implement strategic initiatives, and drive continuous improvement. In this role, you'll mentor and develop team members, foster a culture of safety, and promote a positive work environment. You'll be instrumental in leading the plant's digital transformation.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Project Management – Collaborating with cross-functional teams within the plant and regional teams to lead automation and smart factory projects.
- Developing Capabilities – Coaching operations leadership in the use of digital manufacturing technology to drive performance improvement.
- Creating Documentation – Developing and maintaining software/control system specifications, network topology, troubleshooting guides.
- Supporting Manufacturing - Implementing technology in the areas of Industry 4.0, automation, operational technology, manufacturing control platforms, PLC control (Rockwell), robotics, AGV/AMR, control system software applications, SCADA/HMI graphic software applications (Rockwell, Wonderware, Ignition), integration protocol, SAP software, information gathering systems (OSI-PI).
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree with several years of relevant work experience or high school/GED with extensive years of relevant technical experience.
- Proficiency in Scada, MES, Data Collection, OT Networking, Virtualization or similar software.
- Experience in Project Management.
- Proficient in developing and delivering technical training.
- Microsoft Office software suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proven capacity to influence when working with technicians and managers.
Compensation
The annual salary range is $120,900-$158,655, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
