Title:  Sanitation Technician

If so, then we have the perfect opportunity for you!  We’re currently looking for a Food Safety Technician within Hygeine and Sanitation to work as an integral part of the team at our Wrexham Plant.  In this role you’ll be responsible for working on executing strategies to ensure that the plant has consistently excellent plant sanitation and housekeeping standards which comply with Company policy and statutory legal obligations.

This role has the potential to progress within the Food Safety team, both at plant and corporate level, which includes visibility to our European team.  Your role will be based onsite at our Plant based in Wrexham, and offers fantastic benefits such as an annual bonus, 53rd week payment (extra weeks’ pay in December), attractive holiday allowance, market leading pension scheme plus more.  

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Compliance – Ensure compliance of onsite sanitation and housekeeping policies/ procedures against company policies and other relevant certification bodies. 
• Master Sanitation Schedule – Development, maintenance, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
• Pest Management - Support pest management activities, including on-site management of the resolution of any pest visit actions or recommendations raised.
• SSOPs - Development, maintenance, implementation, and continuous improvement of SSOPs in relation to plant wide cleaning activities, working with relevant parties. 
• Cleaning Documentation - Development, maintenance and implementation and continuous improvement of end of run cleaning documentation.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• HACCP knowledge Food Science or related scientific qualification.
• Comprehensive understanding of knowledge and application of sanitation systems 
• Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing plant process systems, quality and food safety programs and controls 
• Strong understanding of Knowledge and application of sanitation systems.
