Title: Sanitation & Hygiene Technician
We’re currently looking for a Sanitation Technician to join our team at the Wrexham Plant. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining high sanitation and housekeeping standards that meet both Company policy and statutory requirements.
Reporting to the Sanitation Lead, you’ll work closely with a team of three on-site in Wrexham. You’ll support the implementation of systems and practices aligned with the 7 Core Programme in Housekeeping & Sanitation, helping ensure the plant consistently operates to the highest standards.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Compliance: Ensure compliance of onsite sanitation and housekeeping policies/procedures against company policies and other relevant certification bodies.
- SSOPs (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures): Create, upkeep, execute, and continuously improve SSOPs in relation to plant-wide cleaning activities, working with relevant parties.
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Develop and spearhead site-wide clean-as-you-go protocols and track/trend relevant KPI’s to ensure alignment with global targets
- Master Sanitation Schedule: Ensure high standards of site cleanliness and audit readiness by supporting all sanitation planning and documentation activities in accordance with the master sanitation schedule
- Integrated Pest Management (IPM): Support IPM plans, including actioning and resolving all reports generated through the sites pest management systems
We’re Looking for Someone With
- HACCP knowledge, Food Science, or related scientific qualification.
- Comprehensive understanding of sanitation systems.
- Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing plant process systems, quality, and food safety programs and controls.
- Strong understanding of sanitation protocols primarily the development and coordination of standard operating procedures.
