Title:  Demand Planner

Description: 

As a Demand Planner on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, your key responsibility will be to align and enhance demand forecasting and supply chain planning processes. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, coordinating production schedules, and refining distribution strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective fulfilment of customer demand, while minimising both excess stock and potential shortages.

 

You will report to the Customer Service Associate Manager for the Central Eastern Europe markets and collaborate within a dynamic team of five. This role is based from our Warsaw, Poland office and offers the flexibility of a hybrid work model, allowing you to balance remote work with in-office collaboration. Youll be part of a supportive and improvement-driven environment that values teamwork, innovation, and operational excellence.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Forecast Ownership: You’ll lead demand planning and forecasting for your designated market—developing mid- to long-term forecasts and refining short-term projections to support business goals.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: You’ll take full ownership of forecast accuracy, regularly reviewing and updating plans in close alignment with key stakeholders.
  • Inventory Optimization: You’ll ensure seamless end-to-end product delivery, with a strong focus on minimizing Non-Performing Inventory across planning, manufacturing, and sales.
  • Issue Resolution: You’ll proactively identify and resolve inventory overages, working closely with Customer Service and Key Account Managers.
  • Process Improvement: You’ll drive continuous improvement by initiating process and KPI enhancements, while gathering market insights to support S&OP volume proposals.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: You’ll collaborate with the supply chain and commercial teams to ensure smooth execution of product delisting and new SKU launches.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With:

 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Previous experience in demand planning is highly valued
  • A background in shared services, service centers, or other process-driven environments
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, along with advanced Microsoft Excel and Office Suite skills
  • Mid-level experience in supply chain operations, with familiarity in best practices, tools, and technologies considered a plus
  • Preferably, experience in the FMCG foods industry
