Title:  Manager, Team Sales

Description: 

As a Manager, Team Sales on the UNFI Wholesale Grocery Team.  Here at Kellanova, we care about and celebrate your success.  We are looking for top talent in the Eastern United States (i.e. Pennsylvania, Georgia, Florida, Virginia, and other key locations).  As an integral part of the Kellanova UNFI Sales team, you will be responsible for the development, management, and leadership of our East Region team of account managers.  You will work to ensure stated sales and customer profitability objectives are met through the planning, development and execution of goals and objectives.  Help us bring the best to families - all while building your expertise and network.

 A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

  • People Leadership –Manage and lead 3 account managers to attain assigned budgets and profit objectives.  Communicating marketing and sales strategies to account managers, you will ensure the successful implementation of initiatives in order to meet sales objectives.
  • Account Development – Initiate and maintain on-going relationships with customers to insulate and enable the sale of the company’s brands.  Taking an active role in management of key accounts in collaboration with the account manager.   
  • Strategic Partnerships –Collaborate with peer MTS’s, Battle Creek and Chicago Headquarters personnel, Category Management, Financial Exchange, Sales Planners, Customer Service, Logistics, Customer marketing, trade marketing, contracted services, and ROM’s.
  • Analytics – Knowing your business will be imperative in driving sales growth.  Performing pre and post promotion analysis and revising future programs as necessary will be critical in achieving desired results.
  • Budget Management – Manage team’s Profit & Loss (P&L).  This position provides direction to the team in on-going investment management of spend to ensure Return on Investment (ROI) within the operating profit commitment.

We’re Looking for Someone With

  

  • Significant sales experience
  • Substantial CPG experience
  • Experience managing trade dollars within assigned budgets
  • Proficient computer skills 
  • Ability to manage, lead, and resolve conflict in a diverse environment.
  • Ability to work in conditions, which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints
