If you’re ready to bring the best, come join the Invoice to Human Resources team as a Human Resources Business Partner Junior Manufacturing. You will serve as the point of contact for employee relations issues and inquires at the Queretaro Plant. Responsibilities include building trust, credibility and collaborative relationships with people managers, employees and union committee. Also, you will apply expertise and sound judgement when managing inquires, mitigating risk and minimizing adverse impact to the organization through application of policies, practices and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. Resolve issues and address client needs to ensure situations are resolved fairly, objectively, and in a manner that aligns with our principles and business strategy.  All this in an environment of job stability that ensures the continuity of the business.

 

This hybrid role is located in Toluca with the expectation to be in the office 3 days / 2 days at home office – subject to change. Based on your performance, you’ll have the opportunity to grow in your role. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Labor Strategy Development and Implementation Support: Assist in the development and implementation of a strong labor strategy and be responsible for evaluating and managing site/ function, employee relations issues and concerns.
  • Thorough Investigations and Risk Assessment: Conduct timely, thorough, and effective investigations relating to company policy or employment law, collective bargaining agreements, and other regulations and investigate and/ or provide support in response to union claims and labor grievance Identify complex and high-risk situations, providing assessment and recommendation to managers.
  • Collaboration with Legal Counsel: Collaborate with Legal counsel as needed regarding separations, severance/redundancy and coach people managers on performance management, appropriate documentation and communicating effectively to drive improvement and/or mitigate risk. Also, ensure proper documentation to: provide clarify for employees or union committee and minimize risk in legal, governmental or union challenges.
  • Labor Culture Development: Development and maintaining a labor culture that promotes productivity in plant trough tracking of monthly HR Metrics & Ensuring compliance with the progressive discipline program. Also, consult and provide guidance to clients to ensure organization initiatives and possible employees impacts comply with policies, practices and employment law and ensure quality in onboarding processes.
  • Collective Bargaining Agreement Compliance: Compliance and follow up to the Collective Bargaining Agreement and Labor Rules and responsible for follow to STPS Federal Inspections. Demands, etc and compliance with promotions and vacancies processes.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • 4-5 years of experience in similar positions as an Employee Relations Lead.
  • Experience in negotiations with Union Committee (Salary & CCT).
  • Strong knowledge in Labor Law & Union Committee management.
  • English fluency.
