Title: Warehouse Coordinator
The Warehouse Coordinator supports the Warehouse Manager by overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities on shift, ensuring accurate, safe, and efficient movement and storage of materials. The role acts as the key link between warehouse operations, production, and planning, maintaining control of inventory, documentation, and material flow in line with food safety and Chain of Responsibility obligations.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate supply of materials to production lines
- Ensure compliance with people safety (including CoR legislation) and food safety requirements during all warehouse activities
- Manage the operational relationship with certain third-party vendors, including but not limited to forklift, uniform and waste providers in line with the relevant Commercial Agreements
- Communicate and escalate issues affecting material flow, production support, or space utilisation
- Support implementation of continuous improvement and 5S standards within the warehouse.
- Provide shift-level leadership, coaching warehouse operators to follow procedures and maintain discipline.
- Partner with Quality to ensure segregation, traceability, and handling of non-conforming materials.
- Contribute to a strong team culture focused on ownership, accountability, and safe, reliable performance.
We’re Looking for Someone With
This is a unique role where you are able to contribute to efficient operations for all of our warehousing activities at our Botany plant. Playing an integral role leading a team. You will have:
- At least 3 years general business experience in a Supply Chain environment
- Previous experience with inventory-based WMS systems and managing 3PL partners to deliver required performance
- Strong computer literacy and analytical skills
