Title:  Supply Planner - 12 month fixed term contract

Description: 

This exciting role plays a key role in our Supply Chain process, ensuring our retail customers get the right products at the right time, as well as working with internal customers to drive accuracy in our sales forecasts to ensure appropriate production volumes.  It calls on an individual who can build effective relationships, has exceptional communication skills and can negotiate and influence to get the right outcomes.   

 

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.    

 

 Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Ensuring the timely availability of products from overseas manufacturing locations
  • Implementing inventory control measures to maintain shelf-life targets, minimize excess inventory, and reduce carrying costs.
  • Co-ordinate, track and clearing of all inbound import finished good containers from multiple global sources to all DC’s.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, freight forwarders and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective importation of goods.
  • Establish and develop reporting procedures to identify misses against the production plans and projected inventory level and develop recovery plans.
  • Provide interim coverage for local supply planning responsibilities as required, ensuring continuity of planning activities, decision making, and stakeholder communication during periods of team absence.


We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • A tertiary qualification and strong track record in a Supply Planning role
  • Skills and Knowledge in production planning and inventory management is essential
  • Knowledge of imports process and S&OP desirable
  • Good working knowledge of SAP ECC / SAP IBP
  • Good analytical, communication and diplomacy skills.
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills required
  • Strong ability to create good working relationships with internal stakeholders
