Title:  Senior Supply Chain Finance Analyst - 12 month fixed term contract

Description: 

Reporting to the Finance Manager Supply Chain, this position has a focus on logistics, procurement and capital costs across ANZ. A hybrid role based at our Manufacturing plant at Botany and our head office at Eveleigh, you will actively partner with the key stakeholders to influence day-to-day decisions, shaping the strategy & direction of the business with key focus on your designated supply chain areas.

 

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing:

· Co-ordinate pre-month end Logistics cost update as well as weekly and monthly logistics spend review (inbound and outbound freight, warehousing and logistics costs)

· Complete on time and accurate close for Logistics and Procurement

· Provide business partners with management reporting and analysis to assist decision making

· Monthly balance sheet reconciliations

· Weekly Purchase Price Variance (PPV) review with Procurement team

· Coordinate completion of PPV and capital budgets with regional and local stakeholders

· Monthly forecasts for Logistics, PPV and capital

· Quarterly inventory forecast

· Support business partners with costing and delivering value engineering improvements to reduce costs

· Evaluate potential savings and return on investment in logistics Capex projects

 

Your Recipe For Success -

We’re looking for someone with a strong financial background in the consumer goods industry with experience in supply chain as a bonus.

 

You will have:

· Business degree in Accounting or Finance, couple with either CA, CPA, CIMA or ACCA qualifications

· Previous experience within FMCG with exposure to Supply Chain being advantageous

· Strong communication & influencing skills

· A track record effectively partnering with non-finance people to assist them with their decision making

· Thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance competing priorities

· An active team player who makes a contribution to improve processes and systems
