Title:  Quality Sanitation & Pest Coordinator

The role of Quality Sanitation and Pest Coordinator is responsible for the overall sanitation and pest control requirements as defined by Kellanova, HACCP and government regulations to assure food safety and quality standards. You will work closely with external service providers who partner with Kellanova including waste disposal and pest control.

 
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee the services related to the removal and disposal of Waste, Sanitation services, Garden services, hygiene services and Pest Control to ensure alignment and implemented to Kellogg requirements.
• Maintain the master cleaning schedule for Plant, meeting GMP and Kellanova MQFS and HACCP/BRC requirements.
• Actively contribute to the completion of site audits and ensures Operations and Maintenance follow up with required corrective actions the audits identify.
• Contributes to and may coordinate mandated plant wide Sanitation and Pest Control training to all employees in plant
• Monitor general waste to landfill and recycling, and other sanitary and sanitation services and report issues to Environmental Manager.

We’re Looking for Someone With

This role would suit an individual who thrives in areas where quality, safety and hygiene are at the forefront of everything that we do. You will be a team player, able to work closely with a variety of different internal and external stakeholders. Ideally you will have- 

• Previous experience in the food industry with a sanitary or pest control focus
• Excellent communication skills possessing the ability to partner with a variety of stakeholders
• A technical qualification in either food science/technology or pest control is beneficial
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with a solutions focused attitude
