Title: Inventory and Warehouse Manager ANZ
The name might be different but our iconic range remains the same and includes Nutri-Grain, Special K, Sultana Bran and Coco Pops (cereals), LCMs and Pringles (snacks). Our purpose drives what we do, to create better days and a place at the table for everyone through our trusted food brands.
Due to an internal move, we’re looking to appoint a new Inventory & Warehouse Manager, ANZ. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager for ANZ, the primary focus of the role is to maintain and manage the integrity of the company working capital portfolio and manage the daily operations of our warehouses across Australia & New Zealand. You will have daily contact with our 3PL partners to provide direction and ensure they are coordinating and managing our finished goods and inventory so we can in turn deliver to our customer needs.
Our business is changing, the new name is just the start! We’re growing and there are exciting things to come, we want to ensure that from a Supply Chain perspective we are forward thinking and working with our partners to enable our evolution.
A taste of what you’ll be doing:
- Develop and drive the strategy to manage our inventory and warehouse footprint across ANZ through our 3PL partners
- P&L responsibility for warehousing costs across ANZ with a responsibility to drive cost efficiency through the Network
- Manage the performance of our 3PL partners to deliver to our business needs
- Ownership of inventory on hold and ensuring appropriate controls are in place
- Work with our Customer Service team to minimize any potential stock shortages, manage short shelf-life stock and control promotional activity at a finished goods warehouse level
- Manage our finished goods inventory control through effective procedures, via our SAP system and our 3PL WMS to ensure a high level of accuracy and timely allocation of inventory
- Track inventory cost drivers and implement programs to manage costs down, balancing the reduction in working capital whilst delivering on our service commitments to our customers
Your recipe for success:
Our ideal candidates is someone who has previous experience in a similar role, ideally from the FMCG industry, this role involves working at pace! Previous experience managing relationships with 3PL providers to deliver business outcomes and holding accountable to agreed KPI’s. Experience with inventory-based WMS is advantageous.
You will develop and maintain, effective & robust relationships with internal and external parties to influence and negotiate with the objective of consistently driving results.
Attention to detail in this type of role is a given.
