Title:  Finance Analyst - 6 month fixed term contract

Due to an internal move, we have an exciting 6 month fixed term contract opportunity for a Finance Analyst partnering closely with our Sales and Marketing teams.

 
The role of Finance Analyst – Sales and Marketing works closely with our team of talented Marketers Sales People providing them with valuable financial insights and analysis to support them in achieving their goals and objectives.

 Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Through partnering with the Sales team and attending weekly sales calls, mitigate any potential risk to delivery commitments, provide bi-weekly trade accrual reports as well as aged/open accruals
• Review trade accruals ensuring it is compliant with accounting standards and identify areas of trade spend risk
• Complete monthly sales and trade reporting decks including analysis on key drivers with clear ongoing actions
• Provide monthly advertising and promotion (A&P) reporting to marketing team including visibility YTD and full year view
• Assist with ROI analysis of significant A&P spends as well as driving monthly brand P&L deep dives
• Lead month end close to ensure accurate closure and postings of A&P journals and accruals
• Reconciliation of all financial systems and resolve/investigate any financial issues
• Prepare monthly internal A&P forecast and quarterly strategic forecasts, including analysis and partnering to manage phasing as required
• Comply to all internal and external audit requirements 

We’re Looking for Someone With

• Business degree in Accounting, coupled with either CA or CPA
• 3-4 years experience in a commercial finance partnering role, ideally from an FMCG environment
• To excel in this role you will need strong communication, negotiation & influencing skills
• Strong ability to build relationships and partner with the business to drive results
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment – often with competing priorities so being able to manage them all effectively and at times autonomously
• Experience with SAP is advantageous, along with Microsoft office including Excel
