Title: Demand Planner
As Demand Planner your key responsibility is to deliver a demand forecast for your assigned categories. You play a key role as the integration between supply chain, sales and other commercial functions, effectively partnering with these groups to ensure accuracy, alignment and delivering improvements to our process where required.
This role will be based in Sydney however look after the Demand Planning for New Zealand, meaning that the hours for this role are 8.00am – 4.00pm AEST.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Forecast preparation and input base consumption forecast by product & customer group
- Create shipment forecasts by product, by account and week for an 18-24 month horizon
- Prepare and input ship adjustments to manage customer inventory changes, pipeline of new products & any other changes required
- Lead forecast alignment meetings by customer group to align Account Manager and Planners with the consumption and shipment forecasts (cases/kg/NSV/GSV)
- Prepare and communicate risks and opportunities as required
- Prepare and issue reports to ensure forecast accuracy, as well as to support the sales and supply chain functions
We’re Looking for Someone With
With a track record of success in demand forecasting or a related role in supply chain or sales gained from FMCG you will thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience using SAP for planning, other planning systems would also be highly regarded. We’re looking for someone with a high attention to detail, someone who can build partnerships across the business to influence and negotiate to drive good planning and business outcomes. You will have a proven ability to generate actionable insights from data and highlight risk and opportunity areas for the business to pursue.
