Title:  Analyst - FP&A (12 month fixed term contract)

We have an exciting 12 month fixed term contract opportunity for an Analyst – FP&A to join the team. A major focus of this role is ownership of the P&L process, including forecasting, consolidation reporting, variance commentary, identification of opportunities and managing risk.  You will also link into our Regional Finance team on the daily with updates and across our ANZ business.


Effective OP management is a key metric for our financial success as a business and this role plays a significant one in managing this process.  You will gain oversight of the full P&L and present to our CFO & leadership team on where we have landed.  This will help in propelling your career forward in a global FMCG business.  


A taste of what you’ll be doing:

 

 

  • Support the Coordination of Monthly Forecasts
  • Support FPA team in preparation of Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecast 
  • Accurate and timely preparation of Local/Area/Corporate reporting
  • Management of total KANZ overheads and finance business partnering Corporate Budget Owners, this includes accurate reporting and commentary, regular & ad-hoc analysis of variances
  • Pro-active identification of possible savings or risks
  • Ensure all audit request and analysis are delivered on time

 

Your recipe for success:


We’re looking for a candidate who is CA or CPA qualified – or nearing completion.  Previous experience in a Commercial Finance role (preferable FPA experience) is a preferred, however we would also consider a first mover from a chartered environment.  You will need to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines, so your organisational skills will be superb and well tested.  Developing strong working relationships across the business is important to help you in meeting these timeframes.  Naturally you will be a whizz with Microsoft Excel, we use SAP and BPC so previous experience with this system is highly advantageous. We’re looking for someone who is curious, asks questions, is pro-active and can bring new ideas to the table to contribute to improvements in your role and the broader team.
