Title:  Manager, FP&A

Description: 

Role Purpose:

  • To manage financial commitments (P/L, B/S and CF) through analyzing actual, understanding forecast, and highlighting any risks and opportunities in the forecast. 
  • Support strategic forecast process every quarter
  • Support annual budgeting process
  • Provide insights to management through monitoring and analyzing actual results month by month.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities in the forecasts based on actual / trend.
  • Own regional OHD budget in Singapore. Manage the budget and track actuals. Drive ZBB in OHD budget.
  • Work closely with regional treasury manager to understand FX hedge impact in P/L.
  • Fulfill regional / global reporting and forecasting requirement including leading performance deck preparation which is shared with regional leadership.
  • To work on process improvement of current system and reporting 
  • Key lead to improve current reporting system (CFS)
  • Work with GBS/regional FP&A team/AMEA Snack finance team to simplify reporting requirements.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Work with the AMEA Snack finance team both in Singapore and Malaysia to lead financial planning process such as strategic forecast update and budget.   
  • Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities in financial commitments (both P/L, B/S and CF).
  • Communicate business update to regional FP&A team effectively. i.e. strategic forecast update.
  • Work with regional treasury manager to understand P&L FX impact.
  • Manage regional OHD budget in Singapore with driving ZBB behaviors, regular actual tracking and proactive communication to budget owners.
  • Ensure smooth reporting and forecasting submission via the existing systems (BPC, CFS and SAP). This includes the process improvement to maximize the existing systems.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • This position requires experience and a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in FP&A or accounting experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skill is required to manage delicate issues with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of desktop software packages i.e. MS Excel, BPC, and Anaplan is preferred.
  • Good communications skills and be able to lead the process.
